Dragons + Anniverary Pack !!
I'm finally getting my hands on one of those freaking anniversary pack, they'll be coming in this afternoon or tomorrow. Can't really help it, cause my usual card game shop sell them for RM60 or USD19~20, quite a lot for cards that are meant for just display. This time, I got them off Ebay for RM40 including transportation, it's still expensive but 1 DMG will be worth more than that and it happens to have quite alot of duelist//perverts wanting that cards...
anyway, I got 3 Prime Material Dragons off Ebay for a considerably good price. so, I created a Dragon deck since I was bored and I love Dragons since I started YuGiOH, and for the fact that I had not owned a Dragon deck since I took apart my Armed Dragon Deck 3~4 years ago.
back to topic, this deck would be named "Sealing Dragons", its a deck where the dragons sort or "seal" off my opponents play. "Seal" is actually not the most accurate word, but it derives from the Chinese word "封印", which "sealing" is the most closly resembling word.
monster(22):
2x Light and Darkness Dragon
3x Prime Material Dragon
2x Twilight-zone Dragon
1x Cyber Dragon
3x Mirage Dragon
3x Honest
3x Mask Dragon
2x Deblis Dragon
2x Psychic Commander
1x Krebons
Spells(10):
2x Emergency Teleport
1x Mausoleum of the Emperor
1x Giant Turnade
1x Heavy Storm
1x Monster Reborn
1x Pot of Avarice
1x Brain Control
1x Swords of Revealing Light
1x Double Summon
Traps(8):
3x Good Goblin Housekeeping
3x Solemn Judgement
1x Mirror Force
1x Beconing Light
Extra:
Dragons---
2x Trident Dragion
2x Stardust Dragon
1x Red Daemons Dragon
2x Black Rose Dragon
1x Ancient Fairy Dragon
1x C. Dragon
non-Dragons---
1x Mental Sphere Daemon
2x DDB
1x Goyo Guardian
1x Bronaic, Dragon of Ice Boundary
1x Magical Android
well, this isn't really a conpetitive deck, but I never encounter dead draws while playing with it. it proves itself more powerful than my Spellcaster Draw deck(I posted in April), and does not get cursed at by newbies cause there are no OTKs in here.
basic strategy:
Summon big Dragons, FAST. lock your opponent field and beat the crap out of him.
when LaDD is at 800 or lower ATK than your opponent, your opponent would ATK him, then Honest that guy. Honest also helps Prime Material as he can negate destruction, your opponent would choose to ATK him instead, but Honest makes him a very powerful asset!!
Tell me what you think. and what should I change!

Stardust Dragon/BUSTER
is there anyone in Malaysia having the TCG version of StarBust? According to Ebay and a couple of my friends in TCG, its very cheap as 3 would be around 10USD, while the OCG one is around 70USD for 1 in my country. so, if any TCG players who are reading this or u have a friend who has the TCG version, please PM me. I need them for my Overdrive deck!!

Savior Dragons
I bet you guys know that Jack will summon his Savior dragon, the Savior Daemon Dragon next episode of 5D's. well I just hope that they will include it together with Savior Rose Dragon(should be Savior Rose as they all have identical names and Aki duels after Jack) in Stardust Overdrive.
man if its so, I'm gonna save my money for a box or 2. well, too lazy for thinking of lame decks today. maybe tomorrow.
with the Savior Daemon, the true King will be born!!

Red Eyes
currently in a very long holiday, and I plan to build a Red Eyes deck (hopefully, getting 2 ultra Red Eyes this week end). but I don't have Wyverns. so, anyone has ideas for the substitutes?
basically, this is a Red Eyes fun deck, not some META tier 1 deck. and summoning Red Eyes is the main point.
monsters(21):
3x Red Eyes Black Dragon
3x Luster Dragon #1 // Emerald Dragon
3x Luster Dragon#2 // Sapphire Dragon
1x Red Eyes Darkness Dragon ( just because this is a fun deck themed Red Eyes)
2x Red Eyes Black Chick
3x Masked Dragon
2x Deblis Dragon
2x Magna Drago
2x Cyber Dark Edge
spells(12):
3x Swings of Memory
1x Future Fusion
1x Dragon Mirror
1x Summoner Art
1x Foolish Burial
2x Ancient Rules
1x Heavy Storm
1x Giant Turnade // Hurricane
1x Monster Reborn
traps:
3x Birthright
2x Reckless Greed
1x Ultimate Offering
1x Mirror Force
Extra(15):
2x FGD
2x Trident Dragion
2x Stardust Dragon
1x Red Dragon Archfiend // Red Daemons Dragon
2x Black Rose Dragon
2x DDB // DFS
1x Goyo Guardian
1x Bronaic, Ice Barrier Dragon
2x Magical Android
I know this deck is weak and not really runnable against most decks. but think it this way, you won't wanna run a very powerful deck against a newbie right? well, i happened to know a few, so I think this will do just fine.
please suggest a substitute for Red Eyes Wyvern!!

Crystallized Heroes - another Idiotic deck or a new legend?
well, not exactly the best idea, but it is quite interesting thou. you may think of Judai and Johan tag dueling like in the GX episodes, that may work, but will a single deck with these 2 archtypes do good?
this really came from a kid that post this on pojo:
http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=698807
that is really a very bad deck, even for me, someone who rarely states opinion on other duelist's decks. but the point he is trying to make is quite interesting, so I decide to give it a try, by the way, this deck's title would be "Crystallized Heroes"
monsters(20):
2x CB Sapphire Pegasus
3x CB Amethyst Cat
3x CB Emerald Tortoise
3x CB Topaz Tiger
1x E hero Stratos // Airman
2x E hero Ocean
2x E hero Forestman
2x E hero Wildheart // Wildman
1x E hero IceEdge
1x Morphing Jar
spell(12):
2x Polymerization
3x Miracle Fusion
3x Rare Value
1x Heavy Storm
1x Giant Turnade
1x Monster Reborn
1x Eemergency Call
traps(10):
2x Spiritual Art - Aoi
2x Spiritual Art - Kurogane
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Mirror Force
2x Hero Signal
2x Interspace Matter Transportation Unit
extra:
3x E hero Absolute Zero
3x E hero Gaia
3x E hero Terra Firma // The Earth ...
well, as you can see. this is a deck purely out of imagination. so, if there should be changes, please inform me.
the basic strategy of this deck is summoning Gaia and Zero. Using Rare Value to speed us the deck by drawing cards. fusion material can be any monsters except Pegasus. Spiritual arts cards are for OTKs or just back ups. Aoi, ditches Zero, turtle(2000 def), and any Water for hand destruction and field destruction sometimes. Kurogane to save your monsters(in a way or another, mostly due to Cat) . Tiger, Airman and Wildman are the main beatsticks, they also can be use a resources for fusion.

Savior Star
okay, for those of you who watch the YuGiOh 5D's anime, i'm sure you would know Savior Star Dragon and Savior Dragon. those of you who are following the OCG will also know that this card would be the next cover monster for the pack, Stardust Overdrive(606). this is for those who don't:
yes, I do know that this card's real effect has not been confirmed yet. the anime effects is:
"When your opponent activates the effect of a spell, trap or effect monster, you can tribute this card to negate it, and destroy all cards your opponent controls. Once per turn, negate the effect(s) of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls until the end phase. Also, that monster effect(s) can be treated as this card's effect and can be activated once. Return this card to the extra deck during the end phase, and sp summon 1 "Stardust Dragon" from your graveyard."
yes, its a quite godly effect, even more so than Stardust/Buster, but its summoning condition is:
"Savior Dragon + Stardust Dragon+1non-tuner monster". and Savior + Stardust =9, meaning that extra monster has to be LV1. making this card not splashble into any deck.
due to the boringness I'm currently suffering and just for fun, I decided to make a Savior Star deck treating its anime effect as real effects(which may be change a bit, although i don't think its neccessary). This is the deck, "Stardust Overdrive", same name as the booster, as i find this name suitable and very cool!!
monster(21):
2x Stardust Dragon / Buster
2x Savior Dragon
3x Junk Syncron
2x Hyper Syncron
2x Deblis Dragon
1x Dandelion
2x Ryko, Lightlord Hunter
3x Bolt Hedgehog
1x Cyber Dragon
1x Treeborg Frog
2x Buster Beast
spell(13):
2x 1-for-1
2x Foolish Burial
1x Dark Eruption
1x Heavy Storm
1x MST
1x Monster Reborn
3x Star Blast
1x Pot of Avarice
trap(8):
2x Buster Mode
3x Wicked Reborn
3x Solemn Judgement
Extra:
2x Savior Star Dragon
3x Stardust Dragon
...
well, this is just an idea of a deck. I don't know whether it'll work but it should be quite fun to play with.
so, please feel free to comment on it Rauzes!

Necromancing from the Future
after my last post, I build a deck that is purely just for fun. And by just putting cards of different theme together, I build a deck that I liked alot.
this is "Cyber-Necro". the deck mainly focus on Chaos Necromancer and its power up ability along with Future Fusion's ability to nearly dumped every single machine in deck, together with Hedgehogs and syncrons, fulling the graveyard for Junk Syncron.
lets take a close look at Chaos Necromancer (its a very old card from 307, Controller of Chaos). Lv1 (one-for-one), Dark monster 0 atk and def (CCV). its effect is "this card gains 300 attack for each monster inn your graveyard"(everything else). simple yet effective!!
monsters(24):
3x Chaos Necromancer
3x Junk Syncron
3x Nitro Syncron
2x Turbo Syncron
3x Quibolt Hedgehog
3x Scarr, Scout of the Dark World
3x Evil Thorn
2x Raiza, the Storm Monarch
1x Dark Armed Dragon
1x Cyber Dragon
Spell(11):
2x One-for-One
1x Future Fusion
1x Heavy Storm
1x Mystical Space Typhoon
1x Brain Control
1x Card of Safe Return
1x Monster Reborn
2x Dark Eruption
1x Magnet Circle LV2
traps(5):
3x Good Goblin Housekeeping
1x Limit Rebirth
1x CCV
Extra (Unfortunately, DDB and Bronaic is very expensive in my country) :
1x Chimeratech OverDragon
2x Junk Warrior
3x Nitro Warrior
2x Turbo Warrior
2x Magical Android
2x Stardust Dragon
1x Black Rose Dragon
1x Goyo Guardian
1x Chain Dragon
as mentioned above, this is a fun deck and would not be an worthy opponent for decks like BF, Lightlord etc Tier 1 decks. Basically, it just dumps alot into the grave and power up Necromancer while syncro summon with Junk Syncron...

when was the last time...
After reading the recent post on the Nomad Duelist's blog, it makes me kinda feel bad. I mean, how long ago was your last time playing a deck that does not have a certain strategy and just with cards you like. well, I'm sure thats how we start YuGiOh!, but this is to the people that started before the Chaos Era(where the environment starting to get complex).
I remember starting just before the chaos era started, it was way fun back then. I throw in cards like Blue Eyes without its support apart from Lord of D. and having a mixed deck, playing with friends with totally different deck types and enjoyed it alot.
the chaos era really changed YuGiOh!, i wasn't a tournament player back then and don't have much chance to duel against Chaos Emperor, so, I didn't knew how bad my deck really was. Until, my first tournament, it was already Cybernetic Revolution and the chaos had gone away. but the Cyber Dragons brought with them another force that is still popular today, Monarchs(which changed Yugioh forever in my opinion). these emperors are so powerful that fun/mixed decks of that time doesn't even came close. and in that particular region(where the country's most powerful top duelist goes) are deck types I never even seen before.
to match their standard, I've change alot in the past 4-5 years, from my old "I like this card and its going in" attitude, into strategy, sinergy and theming. now, i feel like I can't built a mixed deck like I used to anymore, those things in my brain keep telling me that this won't work. I'm not saying that YuGiOh is not fun now and the decks duelist build today isn't fun, but the current environment just kinda lost its "feel" from before the Chaos. for example, during the tournaments from before Chaos, you see alot of deck dueling each other and the decks are almost entirely different apart from Staples. but since Chaos, its just those few top tier decks that you see in Tourneys...
a few days ago, I played with a friend whose little brother and friends started playing yugioh(they were 12~13? don't really know). I saw them playing with cards that what I(and most tournament players would think are absolute crap e.g Axe Raider?!). but in their duel, it was so relax and fun, and the duels not over until the Life Point is zero(you can't tell who has the upper hand). watching them duel, I felt "This Is YuGiOh! the card game we Love so much!"
I don't know about others, but I'm starting to think that getting more duelist to play like that is the right thing to do. not getting newbies into the game and telling them how powerful Neko Syncro, BF and other Tier 1 decks are and forcing them to play that way!!
F*ck You! Chaos Emperor Dragon

God has Gone Crazy!!
well, its obvious that this deck I'm trying to build is an Obelisk deck. This card has been known in the YuGiOh world since this card's appearance in the manga. but in the current environment, this is really just a monster with high attack power. but its"summon cannot be negated, traps cannot activate when its summon and cannot be targeted by spell,trap and effect" makes this card sounds invincible, well, Judgement Dragon, Black rose and even mirror force can just destroy this card easily. this card's biggest weakness is its ability to make the player DEAD-DRAW it. it must be Advance Summon with 3 monsters, making it very hard to be summon unless with a deck centering it.
so, basically, this deck I'm trying to build here is focusing on summon Obelisk while having Syncro summons to support it. I present you "Psycho-God"!!
monsters(20):
2x Obelisk
3x Mind master
3x Krebons
2x Psychic Jumper
3x Psychic Snail
1x Sangan
1x TreeBorn Frog
1x Cyber Dragon
2x Deblis Dragon
1x Marshmallon
1x Spirit Reaper
spell(14):
3x Telekinetic Power Well
1x Emergency Telepoty
1x Inferno Reckless Summon
2x Instant Fusion
1x monster reborn
2x One-For-One
1x Brain Control
1x Pot of Avarice
1x Heavy Storm
1x MST
traps(8):
2x Ultimate Offering
2x Stronghold the Moving Fortress
3x Solemn Judgement
1x Mirror Force
Extra deck:
anything...
so, this deck's main strategy is... obviously, summoning Obelisk.
Instant fusion serves as both syncro folder and tribute folder. Stronghold the Moving Fortress is also both syncro folder and tribute folder as its a LV 4 Earth monster, it can be use to syncro for Natural monsters or just Bronaic or Goyo Guardian. Mind master for easy summon and gets more Psychic into the grave for Telekinetic Power Well and then summoning Obelisk. Deblis Dragon is forgetting back Mind master and uses its effect or just getting marshmallon or reaper for LV 7 Syncro.
so, if you think that this deck needs modification, please state it!! thanks!
