Lots of update to do, I've been testing my 2 main decks against each other, Junk Doppel, DW and just about every deck aside from Agents (cause no one wants to pit agents against me for some reason).
I had a week of holidays and I've been wasting most of my time on anime, pokemon(finishing White, playing Platinum again) and YGO. Yeah, I'm totally getting the otaku disease.
HERO updates :
I'm dropping the 3rd Miracle Fusion cause I feel that the format and my current play style/mind set isn't suitable for playing 3, its dead early game. Its a hard choice for me to make, as 3 Miracle Fusion has been the back bone of my deck for at least 5 years now. But it has to be done.
Surprisingly, without the 3rd Miracle Fusion, my fusion plays are bigger. I tend to fusion summon more with Polymerization and Fusion Gate.
I planned to go trap based and more HERO beat style, but my ego forbids me going there. So, I play more cards to get to my fusions faster, and it pays off against an opponent that isn't Agent.
monster (15):
3 E HERO Neos Allius
2 E HERO Ocean
1 E HERO Airman
1 E HERO Forestman
1 E HERO Heat
1 Honest
1 Snowman Eater
3 Thunder King Rai-Oh
2 Cyber Dragon
The monster line up is partly fusion base and partly HERO beat. Ocean, Allius and Airman goes both ways. Forest, Heat and Snowman are the fusion based cards. Thunder King and CyDra are the HERO beat cards.
I find this monster line up good, its sorta like some boss rush where you beat a monster and a bigger one comes out. The HERO beat elements helps me stall the game until I pull my cards for Fusions.
I tested played Gorz in here, but its not working as good as I want it. I mean its not bad, but its not good either. And I don't really have empty place in the deck any way.
spell (17):
3 E Emergency Call
2 Miracle Fusion
2 Polymerization
1 Fusion Gate
1 Super Polymerization
1 Future Fusion
1 Heavy Storm
1 MST
1 Dark Hole
1 Monster Reborn
3 Gemini Spark
I really don't like Dark Hole in here, but I kinda need it this format because Agents are bitches. I don't run Pot of Duality too since I don't like the card in here at all (its too HERO beat-ish).
trap (8):
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
2 Solemn Warning
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Mirror Force
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Trap Dustshoot
Trap line up is VERY standard. I don't think I need much of an explanation here.
Side (15):
2 Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
2 DD Crow
1 E HERO Captain Gold
1 Skyscraper
1 MST
1 Super Polymerization
3 Skill Drain
2 Dimension Prison
1 Magic Drain
1 Transmigration Prophecy
Captain Gold and Skyscraper is my personal pick over Lance and Chalice. My plan to go against Agent is simple, no monster in an Agent deck can't be killed by Allius with Skyscraper. I play 3 Skill Drain because there are just too many MST right now in the game. Magic Drain is a personal tech.
I'm not sure how good the side works, but I'll let you know by the end of the week.
Sabers update :
My saber's had a bigger face-lift. Its now more of a combo deck than a control deck.
monster (22):
3 XX-saber Faultroll
3 XX-saber Darksoul
3 XX-saber Boggard Knight
3 XX-saber Fullhelm Knight
2 XX-saber Emmersblade
2 X-saber Pashuul
1 XX-saber Regigura
2 Effect Veiler
2 Maxx C
1 Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
3 Gottoms has never been dead in this build and Regigura helps make easy Trishula.
spell (9):
3 Pot of Duality
2 MST
1 Heavy Storm
1 Dark Hole
1 Monster Reborn
1 Book of Moon
Nothing Special here.
trap (10):
3 Gottom's Emergency Call
2 Solemn Warning
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Mirror Force
1 Trap Dustshoot
1 Reinforce Truth
3 E Call because I want to max out my combos. And the card has never been dead for me.
The main boss monster in the extra deck, is Brionac. Brionac makes so much combo in this deck it isn't funny. I'm considering getting a DT one now since I can't have a boss be a common. Brionac helps me in getting rid of every card in my opponent's hand with or without Regigura. Or make Trishula a few times. I don't have an exact formula for the multiple Trishula, you need to know what your doing, and work your way around it with Brionac and Faultroll.
side (15):
3 Gemini Imps
2 Cyber Dragon
1 DD Crow
2 Smashing Ground
1 MST
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
2 Light Imprisoning Mirror
2 Chain Disappearance
My saber side is very easy to understand. I guess there is no need of explanation here. Gladial Beast and BF are still very very large here and I'm still seeing some Machina plays. Cyber Dragon is very alive here.
