Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth [September 2012]

I've never build a Coelacanth deck before previous to this so this is gonna be pretty rough. But here's my concept anyway.

Deepsea King indeed.

monster (20):

3 Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth
3 Royal Swamp Eel
2 Oyster Meister
3 Mermail Abysspike
2 Mermail Abysslinde
2 Mermail Abyssgunde
2 Mermail Megaloabyss
3 Nimble Sunfish

spell (16):

3 Moray of Greed
3 Upstart Goblin
2 Pot of Duality
2 Salvage
3 Mausoleum of the Emperor
1 Terra Forming
1 Monster Reborn
1 Heavy Storm

trap (3):

2 Skill Drain
2 Call of the Haunted

extra (15):

2 Mermail Gaioabyss
2 Bahamut Shark
1 No39 Hope
1 Acid Golem
1 No17 Revise Dragon
1 Aeroshark
1 Wind-Up Zenmaines
1 Gachi Gachi Gantetsu
2 Ice Barrier Dragon Gungnir
1 Stardust Dragon
1 Scrap Dragon
1 AOJ Catastor

Now, I bet some of you are gonna question how the hell this deck works, and most importantly, why does it have Mermails in it? This deck has a few game plans, all of them involve Coelacanth in someway, I mean, it IS a Coelacanth deck.

The basic two set up depends on if Skill Drain is in your hand. Scenario (A), you magically have Skill Drain, Coelacanth and Mausoleum in hand, which isn't all that impossible since you have A LOT of tutors in this deck. We are gonna assume no Veilers, no traps and no shit to mess up your flow.

Scenario (A): WITH Skill Drain

Summon Coelacanth, ditch a card. Summon any four level 4 fishes from your deck. Any four will do. Overlay all four into 2 Bahamut Sharks. Then, using Shark's effect, get an Acid Golem and a Revise Dragon from your extra to the field. Set Skill Drain. You have 5 monsters that are over 2500 on your board, and your gonna most probably win if your opponent has shit. (Edited thanks to Eustace)

Golem would prevent Special summons, so you have to get Revise out first.

If you don't have Skill Drain, you could always go for Revise, but thats not all that effective. So, don't do this unless you have Skill Drain.

Scenario (B): Without Skill Drain

Coelacanth into 2 Royal Eels and 2 Oyster Meister, pretty classic. Summon a Gungnir, and then summon Stardust or Scrap (preferably the former) with the Eel, Oyster and token. Gungnir can do his job or what ever, you most probably already have game here, but just in case you don't. You can overlay Coelacanth and Gungnir into Gaioabyss. I can't really think of anything that could get over Stardust + Gaioabyss effectively aside from maybe Skill Drain and something big.

Or you could summon 2 Eel, Oyster, Abysslinde. Make a Gungnir and a Catastor. Linde crashes for Megalo. Very devastating to your opponent's field and you get a Gaio at the end of it.

Nimble Sunfish:

I really like this fish a lot. Opening with it and Call//Reborn means Coelacanth next turn. Its a wall that helps me set up rather easily. I normally would dump only dump Coelacanth, but anything is an option, espeacially with Salvage. Dumping Linde, getting it back and crash for Megalo is good. Also, Gunde set up is good sometimes I've heard.

Skill Drain:

I only have this because Scenario (A) is cool. I really wanna put a bunch of big monsters on the board in one turn. Also, a lot of the monsters in here are very big and their effect dodges Skill Drain.

...

Agents.Decklist [September 2012]

Its no secret that Agents are gonna take the starting of September format by storm over here. Many have talk about it and build their own variant, here's mine.

Hyperion - sama back to show whose the real SD boss

monster (25):

3 Master Hyperion-sama
3 Agent of Creation - Venus
2 Agent of Mystery - Earth
1 Agent of Miracles - Jupiter
2 Archlord Krystia
3 Mystic Shine Ball
1 Honest
2 Effect Veiler
1 Sangan
2 TG - Warwolf
1 TG Striker
1 Black Luster Soldier - Envoy
1 Gorz Emissary of Darkness
1 Freed the Brave Wanderer
1 Neospacian Grandmole

spell (9):

2 Pot of Duality
2 Mystic Space Typhoon
1 Heavy Storm
1 Dark Hole
1 Monster Reborn
1 Mind Control
1 Book of Moon

trap (6):

2 Solemn Warning
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Call of the Haunted

...

Freed and Grandmole

I bet most of you are gonna go like "What the Fuck!?" when you saw those two in the list. I'm not crazy and I'm not doing this without a solid reason. I firmly believe the only other deck that could be a threat to Agents in Asia format aside from Gadgets, would be another Agent. Some might say Dark Worlds and their Dragged down are too pro for Agents, well, Dark World and Agents were at Worlds last year, Agents dominated the field. At least until we get Dark Smog and TGU over here, Agents are gonna beat DW 8 out of 10 times.

Now, why do I main those 2? Simple, to get rid of Hyperion, Krystia and Gachi Gachi. What if my opponent plays Herald of Orange Light on them? Let them, these 2 are the perfect bait for those cards. Grandmole is excellent against Agents, I know this from experience. Freed is something I just thought of. I was test playing with Agents the entire afternoon, but almost always draws into Krystia too late in the game. Sometimes, theres just too many Fairies in my grave, others, I'm staring down on a Krystia. I look through my binder and found this thing. I was like "Why not?"

Freed is a good tech, it gets rid of big monsters and tutors my grave for Krystia. Both of these cards serve the same purpose, forcing negation. Letting me drop Hyperion-sama without fear.

Effect Veiler vs Herald of Orange Light

I have no doubt that Herald of Orange Light [HOL] is an amazing card. But, my build runs too little fairies in my opinion to play it effectively. Also, I'm not a big fan of 2-for-1's, playing HEROs for too long gives you that mentality. Effect Veiler needs no introductions, but its very rarely played in Agents, mainly because of HOL.

HOL is better in the Agent Mirror Matches, also against DW(well, at least it does something) and Rabbit. Veiler does a better job against Gadgets, HEROs and some of the rogue match ups where the monsters aren't big to begin with. Since I already main hate for the mirror match, I suppose I play some hate for Gadgets as well, arguably the top deck of the META in my opinion.

...

The other cards are quite standard, I also included the TG engine, just to maintain card advantage and also increase the Dark count in the deck for BLS. They will most likely be replaced by TGUs following her release. Although I doubt I'll stick to this deck by that time, since I'm not THAT big of an Agent fan, its just that I have the entire deck lying in my binder.

I guess that wraps up what I wanna say for now. The format's ending and we can now finally close the books to what many describes as "The Worst Format in the History of Yu-Gi-Oh!". Also, on side note, I've finally form a team for Asia Plus. I'm teaming up with the Arcobelenos again this year (this makes it like what? The 3rd year in a row? LOL), Sunny is in my team, though I'm not quite sure who is our 3rd teammate.

TB Top Shop #4 Tourney - Hieratics Are NOT Dead!!

I basically played today to help Mike get into Top Shop and also test my Hieratic build for September. The list you saw I post ... nevermind that, its nothing like that.

Today we saw the entire Team Arco, including Sunny who had not been in YGO competitively for the past 9 or so months. And also, Jason and Parameswara guy, who are Mike's team mate for Asia Plus.

Deck played : Hieratic

Match 1 : Vs Hieratic

This dude was playing the March banlist of cause, but he was playing this build with 2 Ennead's Hieratic Seal, Luster Dragon (Sapphire) and also Curse of Dragon. I say its super inconsistent.

Duel 1 : Controlled the game with Rank 6 and 5's.

Duel 2 : Bounzer, Focus Force and Tiras working overtime again.

2-0

Whoever says Hieratics can only be played in OTK fashion, this just proves you wrong.

Match 2 : Vs Agent - LCW

Duel 1 : I made early Focus Force and Gaia to poke for damage. He sets up for Gachi too late, I played Mind Control on Gachi and went for game.

Duel 2 : I put multiple Tiras on the board and swing for damage, he can't get rid of them and his Hyperion and Krystia were stop by my back rows.

2-0

Match 3 : Vs Inzektor - Jason

Duel 1 : I put Tiras and Focus Force on the field and controlled the board.

Duel 2 : I open Shadow Mirror, Judgment, MST, Chain Disappearance, Dark Hole and Ghost Ship. I set 4 and hit by MST. His turn came, he summons Centipede, I play Mirror, and he swing for 1600. I top an MST, knowing his set card isn't an MST (since he could have easily blow both my facedown last turn, and also chain it to my Mirror), I play it, hit a Judgment, Dark Hole his board.

Few turns later, he plays POD to get BLS, but I had Transmigration to get rid of his only Veiler and also get another Convocation for my deck. I finally drop my Ghost Ship to deal damage. He POD for Card Trooper, summons it, end up in Chain Disappearance. I won from there.

2-0

Match 4 : Vs Inzektor - Mike

So, my job as a bumper is done, and we go into conspiracy mode. We still play for fun thou.

Overall, I'm very pleased at what my build could do, considering its going against full powered Inzektors. I'm stunned at how consistent the deck still really is. Sure, I might not be able to go crazy and OTK like no ones problem, but as a control deck, I say its pretty much pretty solid.

...

monster (21):

3 Hieratic Dragon of Su
3 Hieratic Dragon of Tfenut
3 Hieratic Dragon of Eset
1 Red-Eyes Darkness Metial Dragon
3 Card-car D
2 Effect Veiler
2 Ghost Ship
2 Cyber Valley
1 Wattmeter Dragon
1 Emerald Dragon

spell (10):

2 Hieratic Seal of Convocation
2 Pot of Duality
2 Mystic Space Typhoon
1 Heavy Storm
1 Dark Hole
1 Mind Control
1 Book of Moon

trap (9):

3 Reckless Greed
2 Bottomless Trap Hole (I played Torrential since its still Inzektor format)
2 Call of the Haunted
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Phoenix Wing Wind Blast (I know I'm taking this out now, its no longer useful)

...

Ghost Ship is amazing, it not only serves as a level 5 that you could drop anytime mid and late game, it could also ditch out that extra 1900 you might need. You can even special it and summon Cyber Valley for a 2-for-2, AND unlike CCD, you get to use the cards you are pulling.

Also, Cyber Valley could be use to recycle your cards, if some of you have not notice that. Cyber Valley and Reckless Greed late game is extremely powerful.

My current playstyle doesn't really involve REDMD in anything, his good to have but not unnecessary important. Rank 6 have some of the best monster XYZs in the game, and rank 5 has 2 as well. Instead of trying to do OTK all the time, try to slow down and try to utilize the potential of the deck in making 5 and 6's. Its good, believe me, but I doubt many would prefer playing the deck like this.

Conclusion : The deck is still very much playable, I sorta know this, and today proves it. And I have some very decent players to back my statement. Still, I do think this deck has no more business doing in the META game, which is good for myself as I like to run decks that not many would play.

Hieratic Update - September 2012 Banlist

The banlist has not officially been posted yet, assuming the "Satoshi List" is the real deal, I build this deck, tested it, and it works. Well, Red-Eyes is almost certain a limit to one now, so regardless whether the Satoshi list is true, this build should cover that.

I shall name this dude "Dragonic Overlord Ennead"

monster (20):

3 Hieratic Dragon of Su
3 Hieratic Dragon of Eset
3 Hieratic Dragon of Tfenut
3 Card-car D
2 Tragoedia
1 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
1 Black Luster Soldier - Envoy
1 Wattail Dragon
1 Emerald Dragon
1 BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON!!!
1 Cyber Valley

spell (11):

2 Pot of Duality
2 Hieratic Seal of Convocation
2 Forbidden Lance
2 Mystic Space Typhoon
1 Heavy Storm
1 Monster Reborn
1 Mind Control

trap (9):

3 Reckless Greed
2 Call of the Haunted
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Phoenix Wing Wind Blast
1 Solemn Judgment

extra (15):

2 Hieratic Dragon Lord - Ennead
2 Hieratic Dragon King - Atum
2 Gaia Dragoon
1 No25 Focus Force
1 Photon Streak Bounzer
1 Inzektor Exa-Beetle
1 Sword Breaker
1 Tiras, Keeper of Genesis
+4

I originally wanted to play Hieratic because a 3000 beater that could blow stuff up was cool, but Ennead was overshadowed by the Hieratic loop. Since the loop is basically gone at this point, I see this as a fitting chance for me to play Ennead again.

I play 2 Call of the Haunted to bring back my REDMD. So, instead of playing Ennead's Hieratic Seal, I figure I just play good old' Blue-Eyes instead. Since I could bring him back and deal damage. With Inzektors out of the picture, a 3000 beatstick means something again. I have 3 normal monsters in the deck now, which is a lot, I know, but I really need 2 level 6's.

Another monster you guys might be confuse with would definitely be Cyber Valley. Cyber Valley, in a format without Inzektors and Agents would be very good; as it serves as a wall and sometimes I could pull off a draw-2 from it. The other main reason why I play this card is because Machina gadget WILL be the top deck of this format (at least the beginning of it). I would side 2~3 copies of Electric Virus against them, not to mention a Mind Control in the main. Who I wanna take? Giganto X of cause. I could always play a Virus, grab his Giganto, attack his gadget, use its effect to grab Valley from deck, banish them both for advantage.

The spell and trap lineup is basic, no need for explanations there.

Also, if Ennead successfully pop's 2 card and your Hieratic's effect got off. Its an OTK.

Ennead pops 2 --> summon 2 level 6, Atum --> REDMD and one of the level 6 vanilla ---> Gaia Dragoon

3000 + 2600 + 2400 = 8000

Considering you need 4 Hieratics to play this OTK, its not as consistent, BUT, I do run 3 Reckless Greeds, 3 Cardcar D, 2 Duality, 2 Convocation and also a Cyber Valley. I'm not exactly low in draw power here. And lets not forget, even without an OTK, you could always play grind games, since Rank 6 XYZs has one of the best effects in the game.

Conclusion, Hieratics can no longer do the 3-card-OTK, but the deck is far from dead, and I expect the Hanzo variant to be very much alive too. Also, the format is slowing down, explosiveness would not be the primary aspect in a slower format. I don't think the deck is dead, not at all; BUT it has definitely lost its position as a Tier 1 and sadly I don't think it'll ever be a top deck ever again.

LIMIT BREAK! HERO. Deck Profile

Well, formats ending, I figure if I don't post this deck list now, I may never have the chance to post it again. Seeing the confirmed banlist might be posted tomorrow or the day after.

monster(9):

3 E HERO Neos Allius
3 E HERO Bubbleman
1 E HERO Airman
1 E HERO Ocean
1 E HERO Forestman

spell (20):

3 Miracle Fusion
3 Mask Change
3 Gemini Spark
3 Mystic Space Typhoon
3 E Emergency Call
1 Reinforcements of the Army
1 A HERO Lives
1 Polymerization
1 Heavy Storm
1 Monster Reborn

trap (11):

2 Solemn Warning
2 Torrential Tribute
2 HERO Blast
2 Compulsory Evacuation Device
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Dark Bribe
1 Mirror Force

extra (15):

2 E HERO The SHINING
2 E HERO Absolute ZERO
1 E HERO Gaia
1 E HERO Escuridao
1 E HERO The GREAT Tornado
1 E HERO Nova Master
2 M HERO Acid
1 M HERO Daian
1 Heroic Champion Excalibur
1 Blade Armor Ninja
1 No39 Hope
1 CNo39 Hope Ray

side (15):

2 DD Crow
2 Thunder King Rai-Oh
1 Gorz Emissary of Darkness
1 Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
2 Super Polymerization
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
2 Dimension Prison
2 Skill Drain
1 Transmigration Prophecy

I don't like relying on XYZs all that much, thats why I play Mask Change at 3. The card is very good when played right, check out my post on the card from last year.

The deck covers a lot of ground, being able to ditch out big monsters turn after turn while still feature a steady stream of traps you can rely on. I don't really like Torrential Tribute thou, I feel that card doesn't fit into the deck all that much, come next format, those would be replaced by Bottomless Trap Holes instead.

The Super Polys in the side aren't really needed, I just have them in there cause I'm playing HEROs. Its not really good against anything this format, and by the looks of things, its not gonna be good next format either, unless HEROs become the sole dominant force in the META. Also, you see a lot of hate in my side for Dark Worlds, Inzektors and Chaos Dragons, cause I doubt this deck would have problems against any other match ups.

CNo39 is in the extra deck just for fun. Its basically in there so I could go LIMIT BREAK! all day long and troll those CFV players and say "I'm sorry, YGO have this first ... again". But, can't deny it was epic.

Again, like all my HERO decks, its build to suit myself and my playstyle, so net decking won't do you much good unless you think like me. No Dualities cause I never have any consistency issues with the deck to begin with.

*Sorta* Confirmed Banlist Reaction AND Tourney Report

If the list posted by Baha is real, sources told me Satoshi Kato was the one who posted it somewhere, and many claimed that its credible, I would love the next format.

While not nearly addressing as much forbidden as I hoped, a good amount of cards I wished to be hit, got hit, in one way or the other.

Likes :

Emergency Teleport & Destiny Draw to 3 :

I always thought Konami hates me, apparently they know my urge to play TeleDAD again. I wish this is the real list, cause I know the deck I'm building right now can go a tier higher with these 2 unlimited.

Tourguide, Hornet, Damsel & Rescue Rabbit :

While Hornet wasn't in my wish list, it did have 2 Inzektors on it, so I'm still happy with this. In case anyone of you is wondering, the majority of the Top8 at WC2012 are Inzektors. TGU and Rabbit are 2 cards I wanna see semi-limited, see my wish list for explainations.

Spore, Debris, Kalut and Earth +1 :

This is GREAT!! After some thoughts, I realize Spore at 3 and Spore at 1 means very different things. Sure, you could only use its effect once, but if you want access to level 2 tuners, you would need another level 1 plant (tuner) in the deck. If Spore is at 3, you could just run 2 Spores, but if its at one, you would need to play something like Copy Plant. How is this different? Copy plant is dead in the grave without Spore, even with other plants. Okay,  its not much different. Debris, Kalut and Earth to 2 is very good cause I could see Doppel Plant and TG Agents coming back. BF, not so much, cause it would take another Goyo to bring them back to competition, but we are talking about a format where the current Top 3 dies, hmmm.

Hates :

Emergency Call, Duality and A HERO Lives to 2:

Don't get me the wrong way, I'm not hating this because I'm a HERO player and it messes up with my deck. I'm hating this because it doesn't damage the deck I hate most in the game, BubbleBeat, that much. I simply wanna see Bubbleman get limited and maybe a HERO Lives too.

My current deck doesn't get affected in anyway, I don't play RoTA, just 3 ECalls; if Call is semi-limited, I'll just switch the third copy with RoTA, no big deal. I don't run HERO Lives or Duality, so it doesn't affect me at all. But seriously, I actually hope they just kill or seriously hurt the Bubbleman engine (without touching my avatar), I want HERO to the the deck only guys with ego problems would play, like it used to be, not something a random kid would pick up and op a locals with.

Offering to 1:

Its still too powerful at 1, it really is. While the consistency of Offering has severely decreased with the semi-limitation of Duality and limiting Offering itself, opening Offering still spells game. It should be banned off the bat. But, its good that they notice Offering  as a threat, but they still didn't hit it hard enough in my opinion.

Where are Reborn and BLS?

Indifferent :

Most of the other cards I do not particularly like or hate the changes on the list.

Convocation and REDMD getting hit spells good game for Hieratics, its sad to see them go, since they had been my primary official deck since the beginning of the year, BUT if this is good for the game, I say go for it. Pure Hieratics could no longer keep up with the META anyway, its time for me to move on and build another tier 1 for Asia format.

...

Tourney Report August 8, 2012 - TB Top Shop Rep #3.

Format : 4 rounds of Swiss, the player at the top by the end of round 4 wins.

Deck played : LIMIT BREAK!! HERO

I played today cause I wanna help bump my friend from Team Arcobeleno, LCW, so he could join Fishtank and me at Top Shop.

Match 1 : VS Junk Synchron

Its not Doppel, or maybe my opponent just can't draw into it.

Duel 1 : My opponent was not a particularly good player, and walked straight into my Gemini Spark twice. A few turns later, he used up all he his to make a Scrap Dragon, targeting his other monster and my backrow, I flipped Mask Change on Ocean and he lost his Warning (his life was under 2000), Mirror Force and another card I can't remember, and his Scrap became 2500. GG.

Duel 2 : He made Scrap and attacked my Acid, I flipped Super Poly, but I noticed I took out Draco-Equites from my extra, lol. He said I could set the card back, but I just drop the card since I thought it would be unfair and such. My life was now under 1000, maybe my opponent thinks his in a good position, but I actually want this to happen. I summon Airman (which I kept in my hand since turn 1) grabbed the Bubbleman in my deck, make Hope and Superior Cross Ride into Hope Ray. Shouted LIMIT BREAK and go for the kill.

I've actually forgotten I did this after the match and I was actually pissed I "didn't" Limit Break! once the whole day, LOL. Too much CFV anime for me, although I no longer play the card game.

Match 2: VS Wind-Up.

Duel 1 : I kept the toys at bay and go for the kill with Mask Change and Dian.

Duel 2 : Unlike Game 1, I didn't play a single fusion monster, I made Excalibur and Blade Heart for the game thou.

Unlike my first match, I can't really remember what happened during the coarse of the game.

Match 3: VS Inzektor - Ah Yin better known as "Sam is my Teacher!!"

Because my opponent is a local at GA, he probably won't like playing a promo based deck, so I swap decks, LOL!! To Hieratics, just to be fair.

Duel 1 : I open both Vanilla.

Duel 2 : I open both Vanilla, but I also had a CardCar and 2 Reckless, those helped. At 1 point, I was holding a piece of Veiler , 2 sets which were Judgment and Lance, and REDMD on the board. My opponent played Storm, I hesitated where I should play Judgment, since he milled his Dark Hole and Lance would not help against Inzektors. But since I can't draw for the next turn, I decided I want another card to back me up. He then banished his Hornet and Veiler to make BLS and attack my REDMD, I flipped Lance, he was very much emo.

Duel 3: I open with both Vanilla. Okay ...

Is this a sign to me that my Hieratics are tired already? Anyway, this is my first loss at TB in a very very long time now.

Match 4: VS Chaos Dragon - Zack

He was just playing on behave of someone else, it doesn't really matter since I would rather duel him than his friend who only started a month or 2 ago.

Duel 1 : He opens with Future Fusion, Sword Breaker kepted him at bay for a while, until he top decked a Mind Control.

Duel 2 : Reckless Greed did what it does, and I swarm and won before he could. He Topped a Mind Contrl//Electric Virus, trying to take my REDMD (0/0) to bring back his Pulsar, I showed him Veiler.

Duel 3 : He opened very slow, and I made a field of Gaia, REDMD and Bounzer. That basically locked down his board.

Placing : 3rd, not that it matters.

LCW lost to my round 3 opponent in round 2, so my job as a bumper ended there, LOL. And Sam's NO1 Pupil would rose to being TB Rep #3.

Second and Final Guesses

In case you are not sure what's this blog post about, its gonna be my part-2 // revamp banlist prediction. From my point of view, Konami is needs to seek redemption for the shitty format they put us through for a year now.

The word prediction is sorta misleading. This is by all means, my wish list.

Forbidden // BANNED!!!

Sangan
Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning
WInd-Up Hunter
Brionac Ice Barrier Dragon
Monster Reborn
Mind Control
Future Fusion
Pot of Avarice
Ultimate Offering

Limited

Dark Magician of Chaos
Magician of Faith
Inzektor Dragonfly // Damsel
Inzektor Centipede
Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
Light Pulsar Dragon
Elemental HERO Bubbleman
Snow, Unlight of the Dark World
Leviair the Sea Dragon
Giant Trunade
Mystic Space Typhoon

Semi-limited

Green, Red, Yellow Gadgets
Rescue rabbit
Tourguide from the Underworld
Mezuki
BF - Kalut the Moon Shadow
Scapegoat

Unlimited

Summoner Monk
Spore
Destiny Draw
Book of Moon
Irrelevant stuffs et. all

Now, that was an extremely long list, but I have my reasoning for that. I would rather the format reset itself and new top tier emerges than people simply changing stuffs in their build or move to another tier 1 that didn't got hit as hard. Also, I wanna see past decks come back, from my list, you'll see that the deck I wanna see the most would be TeleDAD. While TeleDAD was one of the most expensive deck in history, the format was very skill based. I've build a version of TeleDAD using this current banlist and its very fun. It could ditch out OTKs consistently but there's no "do this and you win", you have to use your brain and formulate a kill unlike a lot of decks right now that only ever does 1 thing.

I'll go through the list real fast. I'm not gonna explain the cards I've already did in my previous post, unless the reasoning for why I put it up now changes. Also, note theres an et. all at the unlimited session. Swords of Revealing Light and his gang fall under that category as they would do nothing at 3.

Banned :

BLS, Monster Reborn, Mind Control and Future Fusion all had it coming, they promote random top decks and does nothing to the game but let bad players snatch games from better ones. Reborn is one of my favorite cards ever, but what has to be done, has to be done.

Hunter is the main reason why people hate Wind-Ups. In my last post, I brought Zenmight to 1 and left Hunter alone. After some discussion, I realize that move would kill Wind-Ups all together, when the deck is actually quite skill based outside of that stupid loop. Thus, I took that back and wished for the banning of Hunter instead. Sangan basically does the same thing. TGU made Sangan broke, no doubt, but without Sangan, TGUs are just 1-card-XYZs, and their first turn play would be limited to Leviathan or Zenmains. They're still good, but not nearly as versatile now. Same goes to Ultimate Offering, while Gadget players now would use Double Summon to go to Giganto X first turn, Offering is no doubt still a big power card. Also, the sole purpose of Offering is to do OTK, nothing else, something like that would never be fair.

Brionac is a card that has lots of hate and love on its name. I really didn't want to see this last Dragon (sorta) of the synchro era go, but this card just have too many loops center around it. For example, a certain Singaporean's Infernity Loop wouldn't be possible without this card. Its almost a certain that as long as this card remained unbanned, some one is gonna find a way to abuse it.

Limited :

As much as I hate it, I do agree REDMD needs to be address by the banned list. Don't get me wrong, I won't want REDMD to be at any number lower than 2, but I don't see any point in putting it at 2. Yes, Hieratics run a full playset, but they are still very much workable at 2; the only way to hit it is to limit it. Chaos Dragons still can work with RED!MD at 1, they don't really care, but now they would have to fear Bottomless Trap Hole more than ever. LightPulsar at 1 is my answer to "fuck yourself chaos dragons, just go fuck yourself".  I hate Chaos Dragons so much I want Light Pulsar banned if possible, but we all know thats not gonna happen, they would rather banned REDMD than to ban Light Pulsar.

Inzektor Damsel and Centipede to 1, this would kill the deck. Do I hate the deck that much? No, I don't hate Inzektors at all, but they are dominating the game for far too long and made the format much too boring. The deck is too linear, that is why its boring. Hitting either Damsel or Centipede at 1 would be enough to chip off Inzektors from tier 1, but knowing Konami, they would either hit too hard or not hard enough. If thats the case, I rather them outright kill the deck as another format with Inzektors would leave a lot of slower decks that require set up unplayable.

E HERO Bubbleman is the sole reason HERO OTK exists. People are saying, banned Airman, but the dude had been a staple in HEROs since forever, and has never been a problem, until XYZs comes into play. Bring Bubbleman to 1, you could still bring out XYZs fairly consistent, but there would not be OTKs with the Reborn// Variant bull shits. You can't outright banned the XYZs, they did nothing wrong. I still feel Bubbleman should be better off being a tech card than a main board staple at 3.

Leviair is the only monster XYZs that I felt should never be anything more than 1. A walking D.D.R you could bring out fairly easily is good to spice up the game and add variation. But doing it more than once is just plain broken. Especially since the card normally only does OTKs. While not many decks are running more than 1 copy of Leviair in their extra deck, I do think that this kind of ability shouldn't come more than once.

Last cards on the limited list would be Giant Trunade and MST. Yes, I want to play in the Storm-Trunade-MST formats again. While I do not hate MSTs at 3, I do agree that its taking innovation away from the game. In every deck and side, 3 spaces would be given to MSTs. Trunade coming back to 1 would help compensate the lost of good backrow hate. And lets face it, Trunade was never really banned worthy, espeacially now when Storm is back and staying at 1. Some might say MST at 1 would means backrow war again. But I feel MST at 3 is the real reason why we are having backrow wars this format. Since setting 1 would almost certainly get blown away by MST, we rather risk Storm then to get OTK because they have MST.

Semi-limited :

Mezuki at 2 and zombies goes broke, yes, that was my quote a few post back. I still firmly believe Mezuki at 2 would make zombies very very good, but I can't really resist the temptation of reliving TeleDAD. Blue-Blood Oni would make tTeleDAD so damn fun!
Gadgets at 2 with Utimate Offering banned? I don't hate gadgets or anything, but if my banlist becomes active and the current top decks get hit badly, Gadgets would reign supreme. Even without Offering, Machina gadgets are extremely good. First turn Giganto X is a very very solidplay, and the steady stream of non stopping Gadgets can be overwhelming at times. Offering serves as the deck's main OTK card, true. But, without it, the deck can still ditch out wins against the current top decks. So, I think the Gadgets no longer have business at 3s.

Some of the other card choices are either too obvious for discussion or no reason at all.

Unlimited :

Destiny Draw and Summoner Monk are cards people are begging to come back to unlimited. I shall not repeat what they've already said.

Spore is a card I think could come back. Sure, its still an extremely powerful card, but its nowhere near as versatile as Glow Up Bulb, you need to actually play plants in the deck to gain excess to it. Synchron would get a boost, undoubtly. But aside from that and pure plant decks, I don't see anything playing it. And giving a boost to dead decks aren't such a bad thing in my books.

Book of Moon at 3 because Veiler's a bitch. Book of Moon is one of the most balanced cards ever to be printed and it acts as nothing but defense. Book of Moon can almost never be played offensively, attacking a monster and putting it face down doesn't count, and Empty Jar have excess to Book of Eclipse anyway. This is a card that could stop OTKs rather well and also save your monsters, something the Forbidden (referring to the cards that have a woman holding onto something) cards can never do by itself. If my memory serves me right, people play Forbidden Chalice as a substitute for Book of Moon back in the day.

...

This is my wishlist and not really a "prediction" list, so some of the card choices would seem VERY biased.
