I've mention building a deck around this guy from a week before Photon Shockwave, but I end up not even buying a single pack of it because I just found a way to get all the cards I want from it. Sadly, Photon Dragon wasn't part of that.
BUT, I'm planning on building this deck as soon as I could clear out some of my older more boring deck. I think thats unlikely, but hey, we always have DN.
Galaxy Eyes is not a broken cards by any means, we know that. And we know his special summoning condition (his optional one) isn't really what we say easy to achieve.
But being a 3000 attacker rival main dragon is more than enough reason why I wanna play him. Rival dragons don't really see play much. Red Daemon doesn't see play now because of how tight the extra deck is, Armed Dragon LV10 is just too hard to summon and the deck has too much dead draw, and while Blue Eyes does have some uses, it usually in decks like Exodia.
Galaxy Eyes ... is no different ... but hey, awesome card design is awesome.

Okay, this deck list doesn't seems right at all. Its just antimeta that features random Galaxy Eyes. Scrap this!!

If you really wanna use Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon then just put a single copy in a Disaster Dragon deck!
A single copy is all you need!

True, but the deck is just too costly. Well, there is always reprints! :)
