They're NOT dead! Not Dead!

I've been seeing too many post on FB (I actually got a day off since my class room was used for MUET) stating Junk Doppel is dead.

Plant Syncro is DEAD. Junk Doppel? Far from it!! Or rather, I'm making the deck a Quickdraw based one again.

Everyone forgot one very important thing. When was Quickdraw the Top deck of the META? The 1st half of the September format before Infernity and Sabers hit TCG. Specifically speaking, before Shining Darkness.

Kill Spore and Glow Up, the deck no longer works? Spore WAS from Shining Darkness. The deck's engine works just fine, it doesn't have the autopilot cards now, but the core of the deck still stays the same.

Reason why Quickdraw fell off the map back then. Trishula Loop and Fautroll's Trolling. Why? We didn't have Effect Veiler and Maxx "C" back then.

Why I think Quickdraw is still a very good deck.

1. For starters, if you have been playing Quickdraw//Junk in the OCG, you would know in most games, you don't make Trishula. The Syncro you normally make would be Librarian and Formula Syncron. Quaser is an added bonus. While we no longer have the plant tuners with us, we are not lacking of good level 1 tuners, its because we're comparing them to those 2 that they look pale in comparison.

Unknown Syncron is a fairly good tuner that fits perfectly into the 2 spots our little weed friends used to be in. Sure, we can't make free syncros now, but we can still do, Librarian, Formula, Draw 2.

2. We still have these : 3 Veiler, 3 Maxx "C" and BLS. These in Quickdraw is devastating. Drill Warrior and these makes any problem as good as solved.

The only problem with the deck would be the current META ... or that be the TCG's case. Since Dino Rabbit isn't popular at all here, and while Inzektors do play Dimension Fissure, well, that card has always been there.

Agents out of the game is an extremely great push for the deck. Agent has always been the number 1 reason why this deck has lost its popularity and dominance. Veiler on Hyperion? I'm still 2700. Maxx "C" doesn't do anything to the deck cause the only time you are gonna get a plus 1 would be Venus, but they get a plus-2. Krystia and Orange Light kills any Doppel plays.

So, I way although we took an arrow to the knee, our greatest enemy is out of the game.

This is just the list I made and tested for a few rounds, and the results? "We're still gonna kick ass!"

1 Stardust Dragon
1 Scrap Dragon
1 Junk Destroyer
1 Road Warrior
1 Shooting Quaser Dragon
1 Leviair the Sea Dragon <--- Not really sure if I wanna have this in here, cause I make him once and that's it.

To have this deck work, you need to get the "Glow Up and Spore are better" bullshit out of your head. Yes, they are better, and thats why they are hit instead of these guys.

The deck will still work, I'm positive. To what extend, only a Tournament Report can tell. :)

go go go!!!

gimme a J, gimme a U, gimme a N, gimme a K, gimme a JUNK!

of course the deck is still good, but it has some "slow" hands. but an intensive playtesting and the adding of 1 or 2 techs will make the deck return to its place.

the problem is that TCG build can be very different from that.

I'm gonna test this at locals this weekend.
